Dr. Fetter-Harrott has just completed her first year as a Lecturer in Business Law in the Butler University Lacy School of Business. Before coming to Butler, she was an associate professor of political science and held the Elmon and Lucile Williams Endowed Chair in Law and Public Service at Franklin College. Fetter-Harrott received a law degree from Indiana University-Bloomington
Maurer School of Law and a doctorate in education leadership and policy studies from Indiana University. She received her bachelor’s degree in English education from New York University and her master’s degree in effective teaching, special education from Butler University.

o Dr. Ronia Hawash is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Lacy School of Business. Dr. Hawash holds a B.A. in Economics from Cairo University (Egypt); an M.A. in Economics from the American University in Cairo (Egypt); and a Ph.D. in Economics from Indiana University (Indianapolis). Her primary teaching areas are Microeconomics, Economic Development, Health Economics, and Econometrics. Dr. Hawash’s main areas of research are focused on socioeconomic problems in developing countries including poverty, inequality, poor health and education outcomes, political conflict and refugees, and climate change.

o Dr. Chuandi (Charlie) Jiang is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Lacy School of Business at Butler University. Dr. Jiang specializes in the study of imagination, mental simulation, and curiosity in consumer science. Drawing on the statistical methodology and interdisciplinary theoretical lens of psychology and marketing, Dr. Jiang’s research focuses on five primary topics: first, the elicitation of consumer imagination using imagery, auditory, and textual cues in marketing stimuli and sales dialogue; second, the cognitive, affective, and behavioral consequences of activated imagination, such as psychological ownership, curiosity, excitement, and emotional brand attachment; third, the impact of curiosity in hedonistic and pleasure-seeking consumptions; fourth, cultural schema and the decoding or interpretation of brand messages; fifth, the myth of brand persona.

Dr. Marleen McCormick Pritchard is an Associate Professor of International Business and Strategy in the Lacy School of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (International Business) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. McCormick Pritchard’s primary teaching areas are International Business, Strategy Capstone, and International Strategy. Her main areas of research are on international entrepreneurship, international strategy in emerging markets, and international business education.

Dr. Lauren Rukansuwan serves in the Lacy School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Accounting. Here curriculum includes undergraduate Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Introduction to Federal Taxation, and Accounting Information Systems. Her research interests lie in issues related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the classroom as well as in professional practice.

Born on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, Dr. Sheryl-Ann K. Stephen is a Full Professor of Finance in the Lacy School of Business. Dr. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Economics from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University (SMU) in Nova Scotia, Canada; an MBA, also from SMU; and a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her primary teaching areas are Corporate Finance, Financial Management, and Financial Markets and Institutions. Dr. Stephen’s main areas of research are Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Financial Education.

Dr. Chi (Cathy) Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Lacy School of Business at Butler University. She received the Ph.D. in Marketing at the University of Mississippi. Prior to her Ph.D., she received a Master of Information System and Operations Management from the University of Florida and a Master of Marketing Management from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in China. In addition, she has two Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and English. Her research interests include marketing strategy, retailing, online marketing and nonprofit organization (NPO) marketing.
