    Welcome to Butler University and the Lacy School of Business! Sunday is all about settling into your dorm, meeting your fellow campers, and kicking things off with a warm welcome from our ACAP team and guest speakers.

    You’ll experience:

    • Dorm check-in

    • Opening Ceremony Dinner & with Dean Caldwell and Herschel Frierson

    • First look at the week ahead

    Settle into your new space, get to know your fellow campers, and get ready for a big week ahead—you’re officially part of ACAP!

  • What to Wear: Comfortable casual clothes (you’ll be walking around campus)

    Your first full day is all about what it’s like to be a college student studying business. You’ll explore academic programs, meet Butler professors and students, and start building the skills you’ll use all week.

    You’ll experience:

    • A tour of the Lacy School of Business

    • Sessions on Financial Aid and Butler Admissions

    • A faculty panel and real talk from current Butler students

    • A tour of Butler’s campus

    • A deep dive into Accounting Major 101

    • A hands-on resume workshop: Resume Ready: Telling Your Story

    • Social time at Butler’s eSports Park

    You’ve had a full day of learning and exploring campus—rest up, because tomorrow we’re diving deeper into what it takes to succeed in college and your future career.

  • What to Wear: Business casual during the day; change into nicer attire before dinner

    Tuesday is packed with sessions designed to help you better understand your strengths, finances, and future. You’ll build confidence, refine how you introduce yourself, and start thinking about how you show up—on paper, in person, and online.

    You’ll experience:

    • Know Yourself, Grow Your Wealth – a financial literacy workshop

    • Finance Major 101 with business faculty

    • A mental wellness session: Keeping It Real

    • Lunch and an inspiring Butler Alumni Panel

    • Elevator pitch practice and personal branding workshops

    • A change into dinner attire followed by our Etiquette Dinner at Chatham Tap

    • Evening case competition group work back in the dorms

    From personal branding to professional presence, today was all about owning your story. Time to recharge and get ready for a full day of real-world experiences tomorrow.

  • What to Wear: Business casual attire—no jeans, please.

    Today is all about stepping into the real world of business. You'll visit some of Indiana’s top organizations, meet professionals across industries, and explore how your interests and skills might fit into different career paths.

    What You’ll Experience:

    • Five office visits: Crowe, PwC, Cummins, the Indy Chamber, and Forvis Mazars

    • Networking with professionals

    • Office tours, Q&A sessions, and real-world insights

    • Evening social event at Pins Mechanical

    You met professionals, explored career paths, and saw the business world in action. Reflect on what stood out to you—and get some rest, big things are still ahead!

  • What to Wear: Business casual for the morning (you’ll change into professional attire before interviews).

    Today is about preparing for the next steps in your career journey. From sharpening your communication skills to practicing for real interviews, you’ll gain hands-on experience that will boost your confidence and professional toolkit.

    What You’ll Experience:

    • Effective communication workshop

    • Business Technology and Entrepreneurship Major 101s

    • Mock Interview presentation + real mock interviews

    • Professional headshots

    • Career Plan Workshop with industry pros

    You’ll also have time to relax, reset, and reflect before wrapping up your case competition prep tonight.

  • What to Wear: Professional attire for presentations and the closing ceremony.

    It all leads to this—your chance to shine. Today you’ll present your team’s case competition recommendations to a panel of professionals, reflect on the week, and celebrate everything you’ve accomplished.

    What You’ll Experience:

    • Final prep and practice with your case competition advisors

    • Case competition presentations and feedback

    • Lunch and a final debrief

    • Time to pack up and transition out of the dorms

    • Closing ceremony and awards

    • Group photos with your new network of friends and mentors
